Dogwoods are by far one of my favorite signs of spring here in Tennessee.
They rank up there with buttercups and red buds.
And the smell of wild onions in the breeze on a warm night.
They are stunning when set against a backdrop of new to life greenery.
I even found a fellow admirer {freakishly large lake mosquito} hanging out on a bloom I was shooting.
If only they stuck around longer.
What is your favorite sign of spring?
